In the face of significant worker shortage, shops, restaurants, and companies around the nation are enlisting new hires through various means, one of which is by tapping inmates released early with good behavior credits. With nearly 76,000 inmates previously eligible for early release from state prisons, staffing services like NxtGen Staffing are looking to these individuals to fill roles in warehouse, customer service, and retail, and restaurant industries, among others.
